TRMC is excited to announce the birth of Baby Marco, the 100th baby born for the month of August! This remarkable amount of births in a single month within our Labor & Delivery Unit has not been reached since 2018. We are honored to have the privilege in caring for each of our families and their new miracles here at Titus.
We would like to recognize the Women's and Children's staff for consistently providing outstanding and highly individualized care to the families in OUR community.

Jazzeli Carrillo born 8/16/24. All staff from labor & delivery to nursery, lactation consultant and pediatrician were amazing. Thank you TRMC for taking great care of our family 💜
Congratulations! My firstborn was delivered on August 24 in 2009 by Dr Melissa Slovak-Tucker who also has an August birthday 🥳 ❤️. They are the best!

Last week, Dr. Sigal of the Heart & Vascular Institute at Titus led our Medical/Surgical Unit staff on the topic of STEMI recognition. STEMI is characterized by a total blockage of a coronary artery, which causes the heart muscle to die. Prompt recognition of STEMI is important because it helps determine the type and effectiveness of reperfusion therapy. Initiatives such as these have paved the way for multiple TRMC accreditations and awards, including the 2023 Mission: Lifeline STEMI Receiving Center GOLD by the American Heart Association. Thank you Dr. Sigal for taking time to train our team!
