It's Patient Experience Week, and we are celebrating our amazing team and the incredible ways they bring compassion and excellence to every patient!
Every team member at TRMC plays a vital role in shaping the patient experience. We are especially grateful to each of you who have gone through iCARE training and committed to putting patients at the center of everything you do.
A special shout-out and heartfelt thank you to our very own Calvin Wallace & his team, who went above and beyond this week by serving up his famous jumbo corn dogs and fresh-squeezed lemonade.
Let’s continue to lead with heart and show our community what it truly means to iCARE.

If you need shelter:
Please park in the main lot between the Hospital and I-30.
Enter through Entrance C (follow signage).
Our staff will direct you to a designated safe area inside the hospital.

We are proud to announce that Milan Sekulic, MD, has been named President of Titus Regional Medical Group, in addition to continuing his ongoing clinical practice in cardiology. In this role he will be accountable for leading our providers across the system.
Dr. Sekulic has been a cornerstone of our medical community for the past 20 years. After completing his medical education in Croatia, he pursued further studies in the United States, motivated by the outbreak of war in his homeland. Eventually, he settled in Mount Pleasant, where he established the region's first full-time cardiology clinic, Cardiology Consultants of East Texas.
As his practice flourished and the demand for cardiovascular services in our community grew, Dr. Sekulic made the pivotal decision to join Titus Regional Medical Center (TRMC), becoming our organization’s first employed physician. His clinical excellence and collaborative approach have been instrumental in developing the Heart & Vascular Institute at Titus, which has become a proud and vital component of our organization.
Dr. Sekulic's involvement in strategic decision-making has significantly shaped the future of our healthcare system. His leadership has fostered a culture of teamwork, transparency, and collaboration, driving transformative growth within the Heart and Vascular service line. His ability to engage colleagues and lead teams effectively has been central to this success.
His visionary approach to team-based care has not only transformed the Heart and Vascular Center but has also played a pivotal role in the broader evolution of our organization. This unwavering dedication to our mission and tireless efforts to enhance patient care has left an enduring impact on both our community and the healthcare system at large.
Dr. Sekulic values the quality time he spends with his wife, Yanet, who consistently inspires him to think creatively. He also treasures moments with their three children: Nicole, a future lawyer currently studying at NYU; Natalia, an aspiring IT educator at UT Dallas; and David, a gifted composer, pianist and violinist with a promising future ahead.
Please join us in congratulating Dr. Sekulic on this well-deserved appointment and in celebrating his continued impact on our organization and OUR community.
