Titus Regional Medical Center Expands Partnership Evaluation Process to Include
Community Hospital Corporation (CHC)
Mount Pleasant, Texas – 11.21.25 — Titus Regional Medical Center (TRMC) announced today that Community Hospital Corporation (CHC) has joined the ongoing strategic evaluation process initiated earlier this year. CHC will join the two organizations previously under consideration as TRMC continues to explore strategic partnerships designed to strengthen long-term financial sustainability, expand services, and preserve local access to high-quality care. TRMC remains bound by Non-Disclosure Agreements with the two original suitors.
TRMC launched its strategic evaluation process in response to rural healthcare financial and operational challenges and the need for long-term stability for the residents of Titus County and the surrounding region. Over the past several months, TRMC leadership and the Board of Managers have been engaged in detailed discussions and site visits with two potential partners. With the addition of CHC to the process, TRMC will now evaluate three organizations, each offering unique strengths and potential opportunities for collaboration.
“The Board’s responsibility is to carefully and thoroughly evaluate every sustainable path forward for the future of healthcare in our region,” said Patricia Boeckmann, CEO of TRMC. “Bringing CHC into the process allows us to more fully explore our options and ensure we are making the most informed decision possible.”
TRMC will continue the structured review process throughout the next several weeks. The Board of Managers remains committed to a transparent, thoughtful evaluation, with a decision expected early in 2026.
During this period, TRMC will continue normal operations and maintain all current relationships with its existing partners, caregivers, and community stakeholders. No immediate changes are anticipated.
