Biography

Since I was young, I dreamed of becoming a Family Nurse Practitioner.

I attended Northeast Texas Community College in Mt. Pleasant, Texas, on a college rodeo scholarship. I transferred to UAMS in Little Rock, Arkansas to complete my Bachelor of Science in Nursing, and graduated in 2003.

As an BSN RN, I obtained experience in many fields such as medical-surgical, orthopedic, emergency room, cardiac catherization lab, rehabilitation, and home health.

In 2014, I began to pursue an advanced nursing degree. I graduated from Walden University in November 2016 with my Masters of Science in Nursing, thereby completing my dream of becoming an Family Nurse Practitioner.

As an FNP, I strive to assist patients with quality education and health promotion services to improve their quality of life.

I have lived in East Texas the majority of my adult life.
