Marcus A. Smith, MD is a board-certified neurological surgeon with over 15 years of private practice experience. A native of Texarkana, Dr. Smith earned his medical degree from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, where he also completed his internship in general surgery and residency in neurological surgery, including training at Arkansas Children’s Hospital.
Since 2009, Dr. Smith has served patients across the Texarkana region through roles at Wadley Regional Medical Center, Christus Health, and Texarkana Surgery Center. He has held leadership positions as Director of Neurosurgical Trauma at both Wadley Regional and Christus St. Michael Hospital.
Dr. Smith is dedicated to providing advanced, patient-centered neurosurgical care to his community.
