TRMC has partnered with the City of Mount Pleasant for the 4th Annual Paint the Town Pink event. In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, October is filled with a wide array of activities geared toward early detection of breast cancer.
The Breast & Diagnostic Health Center offers self-pay, cash price digital screening mammograms for only $65, plus a $50 radiologist interpretation fee. Additionally, all women receiving a mammogram from the center during the month of October is registered for the Think Pink! gift basket drawing. The Think Pink! basket includes a pink plush robe, a dozen dark chocolate champagne truffles, assorted aromatherapies, plus a deluxe spa day package. The spa package includes a 1 1/2 hour hot stone massage, full body sea salt glow, 1/2 hour toning facial, paraffin wax manicure and spa pedicure.
The Community Women's Clinic is featuring a free clinical breast screening event on Saturday, October 8th from 9 am - 12 noon. No appointment necessary.
Area businesses are also participating by decorating their store frontage in pink ribbon decor in honor of breast cancer survivors.
