Notice of Revenue Increase

The Titus County Hospital conducted public hearings on September 7, 2011 and September 14, 2011 on a proposal to increase the total tax revenues of the Titus County Hospital from properties on the tax roll in the preceding year by 11.975117 percent.

The total tax revenue raised last year at last year's tax rate of 0.127400 for each $100 value of taxable value was $3,621,177.58.

The total tax revenue proposed to be raised this year at the proposed tax rate of 0.144000 for each $100 of taxable value, including tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year, is $4,057,485.02.

The total tax revenue proposed to be raised this year at the proposed tax rate of 0.144000 for each $100 of taxable value, including tax revenue to be raised from new property added to the tax roll this year, is $4,075,408.79.

The Board of Managers of Titus Regional Medical Center is scheduled to vote on the tax rate that will result in that tax increase at a public meeting to be held on September 26, 2011 at Titus Regional Medical Center Board Room, 2001 North Jefferson, Mount Pleasant, TX 75455 at 5:30 pm.
