Titus Regional Medical Center will join hospitals around the nation in celebrating National Hospital Week May 9th – 15th. According to TRMC CEO Ron Davis, “National Hospital Week is a time to put the spotlight on our people. A hospital is more than a place where people go to heal, it is a part of the community that fosters health and represents hope. From providing treatment and comfort to the sick, to welcoming new life into the world, hospitals are central to a healthy community. We’re extremely proud of each member of our staff and we recognize the important role they play in extending a sense of trust to our patients and our communities.”
A full slate of community activities is planned for TRMC during the National Hospital Week. TRMC has selected the theme of “Everyday Super Heroes: Making Life-Saving Differences Daily” and festivities include hot dogs at the local League of Dreams event for mentally and physically challenged children, Chamber of Commerce Leadership Mt. Pleasant community tour, as well as a scavenger hunt and talent competition for the hospital staff.
TRMC was honored recently as the 2010 Hospital of the Year, awarded by the North East Texas Regional Advisory Council.
