“We were overwhelmed with the response to this year’s event,” said Gordon Hall, Foundation executive director. “It is gratifying to know how much the golfing community enjoys this event and humbling that so many individuals, local businesses and large corporations were willing to support the Foundation in its fundraising efforts.”
Hall said the Foundation is looking forward to the event continuing to grow each year. The proceeds will benefit Foundation initiatives as part of its mission to support Titus Regional Medical Center. The 2009 and 2010 golf tournament raised $45,000 each year. Recent renovations to the TRMC cafeteria were funded in part by the 2009 and 2010 golf tournaments.
