The 2011 All is Bright event, a joint effort between the Foundation and TRMC Departments, doubled its 2010 proceeds. With more than $10,000 added to the TRMC Chapel Fund coffers, All is Bright served to make a significant impact on a renovation plan that until now had lagged toward the bottom of the hospital’s wish list of needed upgrades.
Of the total raised—$10,064—$5,320 came from the Christmas Tree Silent Auction. The Christmas Memorial/In Honor Of Letters and Santa photos raised $1,165 and the Chapel Fund Bake Sale hosted by the TRMC Respiratory Dept. raised $2,150. The campaign also received a special $2,500 "Miracle Santa" donation from Dr. Milan Sekulic's office.
More fundraisers are being planned as the Chapel Fund Campaign continues toward its goal, including a pledge drive within the local church community.
